Branch Relationship Manager - Vancouver Main Branch (Project Management)
Job Summary: The Branch Relationship Manager – Vancouver Main Branch will lead a high-performing team to deliver exceptional financial solutions, with a focus on nonprofit and commercial banking, alongside a strong consumer banking presence. This role is responsible for overseeing daily operations, driving business development, and fostering strong client relationships across all segments.
The Branch Manager will serve as a key ambassador for the organization, expanding the branch's influence through community engagement, strategic partnerships, and targeted growth initiatives. This includes driving new customer acquisition, enhancing loyalty, and ensuring operational excellence.
With a focus on profitability and team development, the Branch Manager will uphold Riverview Bank's mission, values, and strategic objectives while continuously improving performance and market presence.
The salary for this role will be between $85,583 and $126,663. The specific salary offered will depend on several factors including but not limited to applicant's skills and prior relevant experience. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Drive Branch Profitability & Growth: Lead strategic initiatives to expand loans, deposits, and overall branch profitability by developing new business opportunities and strengthening relationships with commercial clients through personalized service and targeted marketing. Identify and capitalize on opportunities across business, commercial, and consumer lending to accelerate growth.
Partnership Collaboration – Foster strong, cross-functional partnerships across Business Banking, Treasury Management, Commercial Banking, and Trust to expand the existing client base and drive new relationship growth for the bank.
Business Development & Networking: Cultivate and maintain meaningful relationships with local business owners, high-net-worth individuals, and key influencers. Leverage these relationships to generate leads, referrals, and new business opportunities that support the achievement of branch goals.
Community Engagement & Brand Promotion: Proactively engage with the community to elevate Riverview's visibility and foster brand loyalty through sponsorships, events, and meaningful interactions. Position the branch as a trusted and valued partner within the community.
Client Relationship Management: Build and nurture long-term relationships with business and institutional clients, providing tailored financial solutions that meet their evolving needs. Utilize a deep understanding of clients' business life cycles and cash flow to uncover lending opportunities, driving both retention and sustained growth.
Performance & Strategy Leadership: Lead the development and execution of strategies to achieve key objectives, including loan referrals, deposit growth, and overall branch performance. Ensure alignment with the bank's strategic goals and regulatory requirements, while delivering exceptional results.
Business Proposal Development: Spearhead the creation of customized proposals for commercial clients, encompassing loans, treasury management, and wealth management services, while ensuring compliance with banking regulations and internal policies.
External Partnerships: Build and sustain strong relationships with external partners, including financial advisors, accountants, and attorneys, to expand the branch's referral network and support business development efforts.
Client Satisfaction & Relationship Growth: Actively anticipate and address client needs, cultivating long-term satisfaction and loyalty. Identify new business opportunities in deposits and loans, fostering growth and strengthening relationships with existing clients.
Industry Representation: Represent Riverview at industry events, seminars, and conferences, promoting the bank's services and reinforcing its leadership in commercial and business banking.
Company-Wide Support: Contribute to corporate programs and initiatives, collaborating with senior leadership to support the bank's broader objectives and ensure organizational success.
Lending Responsibilities: Take on additional business lending responsibilities, ensuring the branch maintains a diverse and profitable loan portfolio.
Team Development & Training: Oversee team performance, ensuring timely and effective completion of training programs. Support continuous professional development, empowering team to grow both individually and as part of the team.
Compliance & Education: Stay abreast of industry trends and Riverview's internal policies and procedures. Complete necessary training and certifications to maintain professional qualifications and uphold the bank's high standards of compliance.
Supervisory Responsibilities: Leads and supervises a team of employees, including both direct reports and supervisors. Responsible for guiding the hiring, training, and development processes, as well as conducting performance evaluations. Takes proactive steps to address performance issues and fosters a positive, growth-oriented environment.
Additional Responsibilities: Undertake other relevant duties as assigned to support the evolving needs of the business and ensure efficient branch operations.

The position may require National Mortgage Licensing System and Registry (NMLS) registration under the terms of the SAFE Act of 2008.
