Member Engagement Lead (Mill Creek) - Nights & Weekends (Biotech)
The Mill Creek YMCA is looking for a Membership Engagement Lead to join our team!
We are looking for someone who has full availability, but is specifically able to work evenings and weekends. We are also looking for this Lead to be able to commit to 15-25 hours (3-5 shifts) per week.
Position Summary:
Deliver quality service to our diverse members, guests, and program participants. Respond to member and guest needs, promote memberships and programs, maintain cleanliness and organization of the Welcome Center and other areas of the facility. Provide direction for the Welcome Center and staff. May create staff schedules and provide department administrative support as needed.
Job Duties/Responsibilities:
Model and provide quality service to members, guests, and program participants in the branch and on the phone, contributing to member engagement and retentionComprehensive knowledge of sales cycle (introduction/probing/close)Address and resolve membership concernsApply all YMCA policies, practices and procedures ensuring a positive member experienceRespond to emergency situationsHand out and launder towels; monitor the locker rooms and adhere to other safety guidelinesEnsure proper implementation of Welcome Center proceduresTrain member engagement representatives to effectively and accurately use constituent softwareReview, update, and relay branch information to staffCoordinate with the business office as necessary on financial transactionsPerform other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
Minimum age 18Strong interpersonal and problem solving skillsAbility to coach and lead staffBasic computer skills/knowledge requiredFluency in second language desired
