Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Prepare and cook food safely and in a timely mannerClean and maintain the kitchen area and equipmentEnsure all food is properly stored at the end of each nightEnsure food is stored at safe temperatures at all timesFollow consistency in all food buildsCreate and display food with top standard presentationAssist with training new team membersAssist Front of the House (FOH) team members as needed, to ensure quick and efficient ticket timesSuggest new ideas for business success and efficiencyMay be required to operate the Smoothie StationEngage with customers to include greeting guests, and providing friendly and professional serviceObserve guests to anticipate their needs and respond quickly to requestsCommunicate with managers regarding Back of the House (BOH) issuesOrganize, stock, and control inventoryAble to multi-taskAble to work irregular shifts to include nights, weekends, and holidays, as neededAble to stand and/or walk for the duration of the shift (8 or more hours)Clean and maintain the kitchen area and equipmentFollow Maryland State Health Code regulations/Servsafe RegulationsPerform other duties and responsibilities as needed, required, or assigned by the Caf Supervisor, Food and Beverage Director, and/or the General Manager
