Pay: $166,000 - $225,000
What you will do
The Sr. Manager, Global Portfolio Management Analytics is responsible for building and maturing Project Portfolio Management (PPM) systems and analytics capabilities across the end-to-end Kenvue project portfolio (Innovation, Product Renovation, Operations led projects). The position is responsible for supporting the development and deployment of a common framework of PPM approaches, tools, systems, and analytics, ensuring the PPM system capabilities evolve to match the changing needs of the organization. The role has day-to-day operational responsibility for the PPM system (Planisware) within Kenvue, and builds and maintains impactful reports, dashboards and advanced analytics to enable project portfolio prioritization and optimization.
Key Responsibilities
• Day to day operational responsibility for PPM system (Planisware) for Kenvue including user access and support, troubleshooting, testing and enhancements management.
• Builds and publishes harmonized (Single Source of Truth), visually pleasing, insightful reports, dashboards and analytics for partners at all levels in Kenvue in support of portfolio decision making.
• Contributes to and crafts the PPM systems roadmap. Stays abreast of standard methodologies and trends in PPM systems analytics, reporting, approaches, and tools.
• Expands portfolio analysis data capabilities through development of more advanced data analytics such as What-if and Scenario Planning, and drives system engagement through user friendly cross-functionally appropriate visualizations.
• Proactively partners with Regional and Global Portfolio Managers, Project Managers, Functional leads, Business Leaders and Super Users to identify new system and reporting improvements to support changing business needs. Continually looks for opportunities to improve the user experience and increase system and tool adoption.
• Translates new business requirements into user stories and system requirements. Works with IT, external software vendors and support groups to define, test and validate changes and enhancements. Program management for deployment of new system capabilities and releases within sector.
• Prioritizes & coordinates the work of the team through coaching and mentoring to build a work environment which enables Kenvue values, including the company's commitment to equal employment opportunity and the value of a diverse work force.
• Maintains PPM knowledge management site for systems training and process documentation. Develops and conducts training for system enhancements, changes and new reports.
• Drives project data integrity and quality improvements through monitoring, compliance reporting and enforcement of minimal data and system standards.
What we are looking for
Required Qualifications
• Bachelor's Degree is required
• Minimum of 10 years of relevant business experience, preferably in the Consumer Goods Industry, is required
• 5 years of Project Portfolio Management experience is required preferably in a large, global company with complex project portfolios.
• Experience with Enterprise Project and Portfolio management software such as Planisware, Project Server, Gensight is required
• Proven track record of identifying appropriate methods to collect, analyze and present impactful project portfolio data to a broad audience, using tools such as Tableau and Power BI
• Strong business and financial acumen, with an understanding of financial principles and project evaluation methods such as Net Sales, NPV, and Margin, and how to use this knowledge to make recommendations to achieve business goals is required.
• Ability to operate in a complex environment and interact across multiple levels of organization, and lead discussions without line authority to build alignment across senior cross-functional partners is required.
• Must be comfortable with ambiguity and ongoing organizational change. Ability to act as a change agent and adapt quickly to changing business and organizational dynamics is required.
• Must be customer focused, have excellent interpersonal and communication skills and be able to work collaboratively as part of a global team.
Desired Qualifications
• Masters Degree preferred, ideally in Project/Portfolio Management, Finance, IT, or Business
• Previous people management experience is strongly preferred.
• Experience building reports and dashboards with data analytics and visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI
• Experience managing Software vendors (contracts, POs)
• Experience translating business needs into user stories and minimal system requirements using Agile methodology is preferred.
• Experience in building and deploying new PPM capabilities and systems is preferred.

• Annual base salary for new hires in this position ranges from $166,000 - $225,000 This takes into account a number of factors including work location, the candidate's skills, experience, education level & other job-related factors.
