IT Coordinator (Information Technology)
RESPONSIBILITIES
Assist in administrating the ITOM/ITSM system, report analytics in the system to understand patterns and improve IT operations and service. Vendor management and procurement of hardware and software. Perform user account on/off/change-boarding. Hardware asset, software license, warranty, and contract tracking and reporting. Maintain the Systems Inventory. Equipment repair and maintenance coordination. Coordinate asset decommissioning. Assign and unassign software licenses, conduct license audits for usage and inactivity. Maintain the service item catalogue and the solutions article-base. Shipping, tracking, and receiving of IT assets and supplies, and reporting to Finance. Conduct training and develop training materials. Coordinate with ITS Manager and other IT staff to develop and maintain IT department policies and procedures. Assist users to provide initial (Tier-1) technical support. Assist in communication and coordination with Informatics and other departments. Promote a positive working relationship with SCHC staff. Other duties as assigned.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES
General knowledge of IT asset, vendor, and procurement management. General knowledge of IT operations and analytics / reporting. General knowledge of ITOM/ITSM systems. General knowledge of MS Windows Desktop and Server operating systems, and MS Office. General knowledge of Active Directory and user account maintenance. General knowledge of VoIP phone systems. General knowledge of computer hardware, software, and networking components. Problem solving aptitude to recognize, diagnose, and implement solutions to user technical support issues. Ability to prioritize workload and manage time effectively. Excellent written and oral communication skills. Excellent interpersonal skills.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
Four years experience in IT support and operations. Experience and/or training in IT asset, vendor, and procurement management. Experience and/or training in MS Windows Desktop and Server operating systems, MS Office, Active Directory, networking, and VoIP phone systems. Experience with ITOM/ITSM systems.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Certifications such as CompTIA A+, ITIL, or ITOM/ITSM. AA or bachelors degree in a technology related discipline or equivalent experience / certification. Experience in healthcare IT environment. Desire to extend IT knowledge and seek continuing IT educational opportunities.
