What will I be doing?
The Lead SA position is responsible of the following tasks (may include other topics):
- Set up the pass with all the required equipment (silverwares, plates, serviettes …)
- Set up the bread station
- Responsible for keeping track of To Go equipment (utensils, cups, plastic cutleries …)
- Coordinate with the restaurant manager the SA's responsibility, and assign specific tasks
- Responsible of Expo during service, with working in collaboration with Chef and the restaurant manager
- Responsible for checking that the SA's tasks are done before leaving the restaurant
Regular attendance in conformance with the standards, which may be established by Hilton from time to time, is essential to the successful performance of this position.
Due to the cyclical nature of the hospitality industry, employees may be required to work varying schedules to reflect the business needs of the hotel.
SUPPORTIVE FUNCTIONS
In addition to performance of the essential functions, this position may be required to perform a combination of the following supportive functions with the percentage of time performing each function to be solely determined by the supervisor based upon the particular requirements of the hotel.
- Performs general/routine cleaning tasks using standard hotel cleaning products as assigned by supervisor to adhere to health standards.
- Keeps floors dry and clean to avoid slip/fall accidents.
- Performs other duties as requested by manager.
- Folding napkins for all meal periods throughout the day to maintain an adequate supply
- Perform all assigned sidework to include replenishing condiments and restocking sidestands.
- Perform other duties as requested, such as cleaning unexpected spills, handling special guest requests.
- Greeting and seating guests and ensuring guest satisfaction.
- Attend required meetings.
