Drafting Manager- County Prestress & Precast LLC (Manufacturing)
We are seeking a Drafting Manager for our customer, County Prestress & Precast, LLC located in Astatula, FL.

The Drafting Manager will be primarily responsible for supervising drafting teams and coordinating design and drafting activities related to a variety of precast concrete construction and engineering projects.
Job Duties:
Managing and supervising the activities of the drafting teamReviewing and verifying design drawings and other technical documents prepared by team members to ensure quality and accuracyCoordinating with project managers and other engineering team members to establish design concepts and criteriaDeveloping and enforcing drafting and design standards and procedures to maintain consistent qualityProviding technical guidance and support to drafting team as neededAssisting in the development of project schedules and allocation of resourcesCommunicating with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders to understand their requirements and provide updatesOverseeing the maintenance of technical resources and software to ensure they are up-to-date and fully functionalIdentifying and implementing new drafting technologies and processes to improve efficiencyProviding regular performance feedback and coaching to team membersRegularly reporting progress to senior managers.

Experience & Qualifications:
An associate degree at a minimum is required in a construction industry related field.Proven experience as a Drafting Manager or in a similar role in the design industry.Minimum of 10 years experience in drafting with AutoCAD or Revit for a PCI or NPCA certified plant is requiredExcellent project management skills.Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal.Strong decision-making skills and a results-driven approach.Able to manage, guide and lead employees to ensure appropriate development processes are being used.
