Job Responsibilities:
- Work closely with occupational therapists to implement individualized treatment plans for residents.
- Assist residents with therapeutic exercises and activities aimed at improving mobility, strength, and coordination.
- Provide support and encouragement to residents as they work towards achieving their therapy goals.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to ensure comprehensive care and continuity of services.
- Maintain accurate documentation of patient progress and treatment interventions.
Qualifications:
- Current certification as a Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA).
- Valid license to practice as a COTA in the state of California.
- Compassionate and patient-centered approach to care.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
- Experience working in a skilled nursing facility or rehabilitation setting preferred, but not required.
