This role supports our growth plans and ensures employee and environmental safety. Located in New Hampshire, USA, you'll work with a team that follows regulations and strives for detailed execution in all EHS programs!
Key responsibilities:
Program Development: Develop site EHS programs to meet regulatory compliance, prevent injuries, and protect the environment.
Program Implementation/Enforcement: Work with site employees and contractors to understand and achieve the objectives of the site EHS programs.
EHS Project Management: Develop projects and lead teams to achieve improvements in site EHS performance. Support asset-centric organization as EHS representative.
Recordkeeping/Reporting: Collect and maintain data and records for EHS compliance and reporting.
Inspections and Audits: Conduct and coordinate EHS inspections and audits including internal inspections, corporate, regulatory, and customer audits.
Risk Assessments/Resolution: Participate and lead EHS risk assessments for new operations, equipment, and process changes. Work to resolve all EHS concerns.
Training: Prepare and deliver EHS training and education to employees and contractors working at the site.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Key requirements:
Validated experience in developing and implementing EHS programs.
Extensive understanding of EHS regulations and standard methodologies.
Outstanding project management skills with a track record of leading successful EHS initiatives.
Strong communication and teamwork skills to work optimally with teams with sophisticated strengths.
Ability to conduct meticulous inspections and audits to ensure compliance.
Experience in risk assessment and resolution.
Capability to deliver engaging and informative training sessions.
Bachelor's degree in environmental science, Health and Safety, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
Relevant certifications in EHS are preferred.
Daring and proactive approach to achieving site EHS objectives.
