Position Summary: The EVP - Commercial Loan Operations supports the delivery of operational initiatives by helping develop and overseeing the implementation of strategies relative to the commercial servicing, secondary marketing, funding, and investor efforts within Community Bankshares Inc. and will oversee daily operations for our clients' portfolios of commercial loans. This individual has a team of direct reports who require ongoing mentorship, training, and regular review of assigned activities to ensure an equitable distribution of work among the staff based upon experience levels, complexity of task and timing of requirements. Essential Functions/Job Duties: · Oversee day-to-day activities for various operational teams performing tasks associated with, but not limited to: loan servicing, investor relations, loan documentation and closing, construction servicing and various other loans terms housed in servicing system of record. · Lead, mentor, and manage junior to mid-level management staff, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement. · Maintain visibility into the status of daily task assignments to ensure items are executed timely, accurately, approved by authorized personnel and distributed to appropriate recipients where applicable. · Serve as primary point of escalation and project coordination for respective areas of responsibility. · Represent the company in resolving non-compliant issues through verbal and written communication with both internal and external parties. · Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices to enhance service delivery and operational efficiency. · Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) for respective areas of responsibility to track operational performance and drive continuous improvement initiatives. · Continuously evaluate resources to ensure established service level objectives are achievable and met, and staff is appropriately utilized and performing; make recommendations to upline manager where applicable. · Stay abreast of changes in industry standards. · Such other activities as may be assigned by your manager.
Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills and Abilities): · Bachelor's degree; preferred field of study: real estate, finance/accounting, business or equivalent combination of education and experience · Minimum of 12+ years of industry and/or relevant experience, typically with 2+ years in a VP level role or external equivalent. · High comfort level with use of various industry related software systems · Ability to multitask · Strong attention to detail and accuracy · Strong communication skills (written and verbal) · Strong analytical abilities, good judgment, strategic and process thinking · High degree of professionalism · Ability to work as a team player · Pro-active approach to problem recognition and resolution · Strong leadership skills Physical Demands and Work Environment: The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this position.
