Chaplain (Personal Services)
Responsibilities:
Provide pastoral care and counseling through routine visits, individual and family appointments, groups and worship services.
Develop effective relationships with residents by welcoming new residents, call on those that are bedfast and visit residents in the hospital when needed.
Provide regular worship services and Bible studies on a regular basis.
Provide devotional readings and discussions to various meeting groups (staff, residents, family members etc.)
Provide quarterly reporting of activity, measurements and impactful stories for and within the facility.
Acts as liaison for facility relations with the general public. Presents a service-oriented philosophy reflecting the ministry of Heritage Ministries and conveys this to staff and residents.

Qualifications:
Current ordination and denomination endorsement for specialized ministry is required.Experience in a clinical setting is preferred. Must demonstrate a competence in pastoral ministry, communication and preaching skills.Ability to interact appropriately and professionally with staff, residents, vendors, volunteers, and the public in person and via the telephone.Ability to be flexible in scheduling based on pastoral care need within Heritage Ministries. Chaplains will be called to provide ministry on off hours and within all Heritage facilities.
