Johnsonville, LLC Maintenance Coordinator 3 Positions - One per facility in Sheboygan Falls, WI Position Overview: The Maintenance Coordinator will lead our maintenance team and enhance production equipment reliability and performance through the Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) model. This role will oversee the maintenance operations for all manufacturing equipment and systems, with a focus on implementing, managing, and continuously improving TPM principles. The goal is to maximize equipment uptime, minimize downtime, and boost overall plant efficiency. Responsibilities include strategic planning, daily maintenance coordination, and team development to foster a proactive maintenance culture, supported by both campus and global resources. Responsibilities:
Own and drive the safety of all Maintenance Members
Drive the implementation of Reliability Excellence as the Reliability Excellence PM Pillar Owner for the facility to maximize plant performance through use of PM, PdM, CMMS, etc.
As the facility technical leader provide leadership and coaching for the Maintenance Team Leaders and Maintenance Members to achieve superlative performance through the development of personal and technical development plans
Accountable for the monthly facility maintenance spend, focusing efforts on closing any gaps to target, by identifying key operating risks, opportunities, and contingencies to achieve target
Responsible for asset management including maximizing utilization, replacement, upgrading, maintenance, and tracking utilizing SAP
Develop and instill a culture of teamwork, safety, innovation, and customer service within the maintenance team as well as modeling these behaviors for other departments
Pro-actively form, lead, participate and/or facilitate various teams designed to improve our quality and effectiveness of maintenance and production
Lead the environmental program for the facility and incident commander for the facility
Support the PSM program for the facility
Partner with Global Engineering to ensure facility capital needs are achieved. Facilitate and/or lead limited scope repair projects within the facility
Build joint ownership of the facility and equipment by partnering with other facility departments (Safety, FSQ, production, sanitation, shipping, etc.) as well as Global Support functions (Engineering, Sourcing, Finance, etc.)
Optimize resource utilization and leverage the diverse skill sets of all Maintenance Members company-wide by proactively collaborating with maintenance coordinators across all facilities, leading the strategic sharing of Members, resources, and best practices to meet dynamic business needs across all plants
Ensure the success of maintenance planning/scheduling and inventory control functions to maximize the effectiveness of the maintenance team
Education:
Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field, preferred
Experience:
Minimum of 3 years of industrial maintenance experience, required
At least 5 years' experience in successfully coaching and leading individuals, required
Skills and Competencies:
Knowledgeable in regulatory compliance (Safety, USDA, and EPA)
Strong interpersonal, written, oral and listening communication skills
Demonstrated self-growth and development of self and others to higher levels of responsibility
Proven success in leading, motivating, and coaching a large team, offering guidance and direction to members at various levels
Ability to create necessity and drive to achieve results
Proven track record of project management experience and success
Comfortable with ambiguity, fast pace & high degree of change
Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects to meet deadlines in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
