SUMMARY: Applies moderate to complex principles of credit and collections including but not limited to reviewing, analyze, and making credit decisions. Assist with developing solutions to minimize waste and optimize the delivery of credit information, including making recommendations for process efficiency, testing, and deployment. Familiarity with interpreting data from external credit risk reporting services. Proficiency in conducting a comprehensive analysis of data from multiple data sources, and mitigating credit risk. Analyze prospective customers using financial analysis techniques, including balance sheets, income statements, cash flow, and industry factors. Conduct research and make recommendations to approve or decline additional exposure. Perform monthly, quarterly, and annual credit reviews on existing customers based on credit risk triggers. Responsible for managing all aspects of the credit review process, gathering relevant facts to make decisions that limit risk exposure overall. Performs ad-hoc reporting analysis and analytical work as required. Provide practical input pursuant to drafting policies, procedures, and reporting solutions. Participates in other critical projects upon request, either departmental or company-wide.
• Employees are accountable to management and each other to ensure every task is done safely in accordance with Management Systems or business unit procedures with the objective of continuously improving our processes. EXPERIENCE: 2 - 4 years of credit and collection business experience. Must possess skill sets and demonstrate proven experience developing, improving and streamlining processes to meet established goals and objectives. Requires the ability to effectively manage projects that may vary in nature and scope.
• All Crowley positions require proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Outlook and Word. Some positions may also include proficiency in other Microsoft Office applications.
EDUCATION: Bachelors degree / Bilingual Skills: Spanish (preferred)
WORKING CONDITIONS: Normal office environment with little exposure to excessive noise, dust, temperature and the like. Extended use of computer keyboard and viewing of computer monitor and ability to sit for long periods of time. Ability to work long hours and travel as required. Must comply with all work rules, including those that pertain to safety and health.
