Office Manager (Administrative)
Essential Duties:
Work collaboratively with the VP of WFD to ensure an effective, harmonious, and optimally operated Office and represent the mission and values of Goodwill Industries of Central Michigans Heartland Inc. (GICMH). Provide administrative support to the VP of Workforce Development, including scheduling, taking, transcribing, and maintaining minutes, notes, and action plans from staff, community, and program meetings. Assist the Youth Development and Community Engagement Manager to support youth programming as needed. Demonstrate high ethical standards, sound judgment, integrity, and the ability to handle confidential information in a secure and professional manner. Assist with general office duties, including but not limited to answering phones, typing, filing, ordering supplies, postal and interoffice mail, and data entry. Assist in creating meeting agendas, correspondences, and documents such as emails, letters, and other documents as required. Help administer and maintain grant management efforts, including reporting requirements and deadlines. Support all Workforce Development programs and events including, but not limited to, programmatic support, event and meeting correspondence, program organization, and coordination. Review to ensure the timely and accurate entry, management, and reporting of participant case records through utilizing the Efforts to Outcomes (ETO) database. Assist the Vice President of WFD in maintaining participant and employer databases. Represent Goodwill in a professional and dignified manner. Follow all GICMH policies and procedures, including safety policies. Assist in ensuring compliance with Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities (CARF) accreditation standards. Other duties as assigned by the VP of Workforce Development.
